MEDICAL MALPRACTICE MEDIATION PROGRAM



NYSTLA, in conjunction with the Medical Liability Mutual Insurance Company, has instituted a pilot program for the early disposition of appropriate medical malpractice cases through mediated negotiations. To achieve this goal, we ask you, as a member of NYSTLA, to select cases that may lend themselves to mediation and to submit candidate cases to NYSTLA for our in-house mediation program. NYSTLA charges a nominal fee of $300 for members and $550 for non-members.



Additionally, we are compiling a list of mediators. Please let us know if you are interested in mediating cases.
